魏同权,于2009年从Michigan Technological University博士毕业,现在华东师范大学计算机科学技术系任职副教授,担任硕士生导师。他在嵌入式系统设计领域进行了8年的研究开发,部分科研成果已取得国际瞩目成就。他近年来还专注于智能家庭这个国际上新兴的科研方向,其研究也取得重大进展,并应邀担任IEEE智能楼宇设计自动化及控制管理专家委员会委员(IEEE Technical Committee on Building Automation, Control and Management)。魏同权博士为IEEE(电气与电子工程师协会)会员。

魏同权博士具有丰富的工程实践经验。他与工业界紧密结合,在嵌入式OS、软件设计与优化等方面的研究与开发积累了丰富的经验。在华东师范大学,魏同权博士及其研究小组对嵌入式实时系统的调度算法及实现进行了深入的研究。同时, 魏同权博士在楼宇设计自动化、智能家园社区建设以及安全智能家庭节能等方面也有独到的研究。在长期的研究及实践中,魏同权博士积累了大量产、学、研相结合的经验,具有理论研究和产品研发有机结合的厚实基础。
